When to use the water?
When you add a tablet to the water you immediately get the off gas. The water turns yellow. How long do you wait before you can use the treated water? Because of the smell and off gas I add the tablet to water outside. Should the water be used when yellow or after it clears? How often do you add tablets to the well?

As for when to drink the water, the WHO approves consumption of ClO2 at low concentrations (1-5 PPM) which would be the target concentration for well water. However, if you don’t like the taste, simply let it sit until the color disappears!
