Test for chlorine dioxide levels

How do you know how many ppm of chlorine dioxide you have in the water after you have treated it

I would like to use this in our hot tub and livestock tanks. I understand the calculator which tells you how many tablets to use, but how do you test the water after you use the tablets to check the levels of chlorine dioxide in the water
