Hi there,

We have extensive applications for developed for cannabis applications, but if you have an open style greenhouses (you mentioned a canopy) these applications will need some adjustments.
The best approach is comprehensive, meaning the use of ClO2 through out the grow, at every stage of the operation.

Facility Sanitization:
– For Use in Foot Baths: Add 2 tablets to 5 gallons of water for a concentration of 10 PPM.
– Non-Porous Surfaces Such as Floors, Walls, and Ceilings: For general surfaces prepare spray at 10 PPM. Allow the mixture to air dry, no need to wipe down surfaces.
– To Sanitize Fans, HVAC, and Air Exchangers: When gassing an area, cycle fans, HVAC and air exchangers.
– Use to Clean Employee Break Rooms/Restrooms: 10 PPM as a replacement for bleach or isopropyl alcohol. Spray and let air dry.
– Odor Removal for Clothing, Employee Automobiles, or Wherever Cannabis Odors Linger Outside of the Grow: Gas at 20 tablets to 2 oz of water for 6 to 24 hours in an enclosed area. Allow for 30 minutes or longer for air-out after treatment, depending on ventilation/air flow.
– Carbon and RO Filters: Pre-clean at 3 PPM. Anything over 40 PPM with reduce the effectiveness of the filter.
– Clean Mini-Splits: Mix 1 tablet in 32 Oz spray bottle for a 100 PPM solution. Turn Fan down to low and spray directly where buildup is present.

Treatment for Irrigation, Water Tanks & Reservoirs:
– Incoming Water Lines: Treat with ClO2 injection at 1 PPM.
– Injection Systems: Run with nutrients up to 1 PPM.
– Water Tanks: Treat at 1 PPM, which will keep feed reservoirs clean and free of mold, slime and algae. Slowly add tablets directly to reservoir AFTER mixing in nutrients (mixing before will pre-release the ClO2 from the water). Add fresh tabs every other day
– Irrigation Lines: Flush between grow cycles at 50-100 PPM to eliminate biofilm build up without causing micro abrasions to the inner diameter of the lines.

Grow Room Reset (No Plants Present):
– Beginning at the top and working downwards, spray the ceiling, light fixtures, walls, tables and the floor at 10 PPM and allow to air dry.
– Flush all irrigation lines and clean drains, especially open or french style drains, at 50 PPM.
– Use Safrax® to gas the grow areas at 1 tablet per 100 ft³, using 2 oz of water per 10 tablets. ADD TABLETS SLOWLY. Treat for a minimum of 6 hours to 24 hours.

Treatment During Growth Phases:
– Dipping Cuttings to Prevent Disease: Submerge cutting in a 5 PPM solution allowing moisture to naturally air dry.
– Sanitizing Coco Clone Cubes and Coco Pre-Filled Bags: Treat at 5 PPM for 10 MINUTES for coco cubes. When blowing up coco pre-filled bags, treat at 5 PPM, then please allow 24 hours before planting clones into bags.

Integrated Pest Management:
– Spray at 5 PPM directly on plants, from substrate to the top of the plant, covering all areas. Turn off lights. You do not have to turn off dehumidifiers or HVAC.
– “5 PPM a day keeps problems away.”

Powdery Mildew:
– If Powdery Mildew is Present: Use at a concentration of 50 PPM (2 tablets/gallon of water), spray directly on the entire plant.

Harvest Protocols:
– Sanitize all tools at 500 PPM (20 tablets/gallon), let sit 1 minute, then rinse.
– Sanitize all surfaces including tables, harvest equipment, tops of pots, and another other contact surfaces where flower may touch. Spray at 100 PPM (4 tablets/gallon) and allow to air dry, no need to wipe down.

Use in Dry Room with Drying Cannabis to Purify Air:
– First 24 Hours: 200 tablets in 2 cups of water in a 5 gallon bucket treats 2500 ft³. ADD TABLETS SLOWLY.
– Second 24 Hours: 200 tablets in 2 cups of water per 2500 ft³.
– Third and Final Day: 100 tablets in 1 cup of water.
– After Third Day: Finish drying normally.

Wet Trim Method:
– Use fine mist such as an atomizer or fine spray nozzle on finished buds for added yeast and mold protection. Mist entire bud at 50 PPM.

To treat a canopy, the gas method (no plant present) would be best recommended. if there are plants present, and if you have an open-style greenhouse, we would recommend applying a ClO2 solution with an electrostatic fogger at 50 PPM.
