Hi there,

Usually stains that appear in tile grout are due to mold, so I would recommend treating with 2000 PPM solution, allowing this to work for 10 to 15 minutes, then giving it a scrub. Follow up with a rinse. If any remains, it may need a second or third application depending on how deep the mold (mildew) has penetrated.

Please be sure to have good ventilation while treating at these higher strength – an appropriate mask is recommended but not necessary so long as you keep windows open and a fan running. The concentration in the air will depend on the size of the room and the level of ventilation, so please be mindful of this fact.

After cleaning, I would also recommend treating your clean tile grout with a “grout sealer” – this will provide more protection against penetrating moisture and should keep your grout clean for longer!
